Wellness Warriors Program

Our school's wellness program, Wellness Warriors, has received a 'WellEducated A+ rating' from AIMS-EBS. This honor is awarded to schools that have consistently implemented innovative and effective wellness initiatives for their faculty and staff and are dedicated to promoting a healthy community.

Our mission is to encourage, promote and provide opportunities for our employees to choose healthy lifestyles and reach the optimal state of health they can achieve.

Over the many years I've worked in the Lower School, Middle School, and High School, I've seen the respect, warmth, and compassion that greeted me to this community woven though the many relationships among students, families, faculty, and staff in our school.

-Terrilynn Platt, Upper School STEM Teacher

As a teacher and a parent at the school, I love that JDS believes in the importance of a strong academic experience, along with helping the child grow as an individual and as respectful citizen of a community.
