Arts at CESJDS

Arts education is an integral part of the CESJDS whole school program, and has become an essential part of the process for helping students develop their individual voices.

At CESJDS, we celebrate creativity - it is at the center of a students' experience. Through the wide variety of visual and performing arts courses and after-school activities, weekly performances at Kabbalat Shabbat for the student body, beautiful galleries on display throughout the school, multiple field trips to museums and theatrical productions, and impressive opportunities to hear from guest artists, the Arts help foster our school's community, while building students' abilities to emphasize and collaborate with others, communicate effectively, and solve creative problems with confidence.
