Art & Design
At the Middle School and High School levels, Art and Design students are exposed to a variety of artistic mediums; drawing, painting, printmaking, fabric, sculpture, digital art, and mixed media. Middle school students learn to experiment with techniques as they are exposed to the fundamentals of art making. At the high school level, students explore identity and autobiography, cultural history, and social justice through art, culminating in a portfolio of their work. High school students may also specialize in digital art through our Graphic Design Program. Students use Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to create a variety of projects that speak to communication design, marketing, and layout.
