Gurim

Gurim is an amazing “junior kindergarten” experience for families that are looking for an engaging, dynamic, hands-on learning environment for their children. This rich full-day experience integrates school-based academics with educational play led by highly experienced and  professionally trained educators. Throughout their day, students are immersed in Hebrew language and participate in science/STEM, art, and music co-curricular classes with teachers who are experts in those particular subject matter disciplines.

“Coming from a bilingual home, it’s a priority for us that our children are fluent in Hebrew in all aspects of the language. There’s nothing better than seeing Naomi play in Hebrew on the playground with her CESJDS friends.” Joanna and Roee Snir, CESJDS Gurim Parents

“Our child has thrived in Gurim this year. Academically we knew the program would be excellent, but we are most impressed by the social/emotional growth he's had, the deep friendships he's already made, and the incredible bond he's created with his teachers. His Hebrew language comprehension and vocabulary has exploded this year. He's coming home excited to show us all the new letters he's learned and asking to write notes for us with his newfound knowledge. We can see  that he's figuring out how to apply the practical life skills he's learning in the classroom at home. Most importantly, he's truly excited to go to school every day.  We are so happy we chose Gurim for our child!"Shirin and Osher Masica, CESJDS Gurim Parents
