The Hebrew curriculum is designed to connect students with Israel and the Jewish people through mastery of the Hebrew language. The Hebrew program has been designed in accordance with the proficiency standards for language acquisition set by the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Language. Students will learn to communicate effectively in Hebrew while strengthening their skills in reading, writing, speaking and listening.
As they move through the program, students become prepared for their senior capstone experience in Israel where they will have the opportunity to engage daily with spoken and written Hebrew language while traveling through Israel.
