Health and Exercise Science

We believe that self-responsibility is the key to successful, proactive health care. Health and exercise is critical for adolescents and adults in the 21st century. Our courses challenge students to make healthy, informed decisions about their own personal fitness and wellness. 

The PE and Sports Medicine program emphasizes that achieving and maintaining optimal levels of personal and communal health and wellness is an ongoing process which must be sustained throughout a lifetime. We encourage our students to participate in our extensive after-school athletic program. During the school day, students can take Strength Training and Conditioning. Additionally, we offer a rich program in Sports Medicine and Athletic Training.
