Spanish

Students in High School Spanish develop the ability to communicate in Spanish by speaking, reading, and writing, and by using authentic  materials (such as movies, news, and songs) and technology (such as interactive websites or research resources). Our students acquire an understanding of the concept of culture as they compare practices studied with their own. This approach is summarized in the 5 “Cs” (communication, culture, connections, community, comparisons) as defined by the ACTFL National Standards for Foreign Language Education.
