Our Vision for the Future

CESJDS has developed a multi-pronged set of Strategic Directions to achieve sustainability and continued growth in excellence well into the future. The school will lean explicitly and fully into its historical pluralistic approach – the pursuit, welcome, integration, education, and support of students and families from a broad spectrum of backgrounds, observance, and cultures. Grounded in our commitment to pluralism, we will build on our heritage to create a vibrant, inclusive, and forward-looking Jewish educational experience. 

PLURALISM is woven into every area and aspect of our three interconnected Strategic Directions, ensuring that our school continues to be a dynamic expression of contemporary Jewish life in the United States. This commitment to diversity and pluralism will guide our educational program, school culture, recruitment and retention strategies, institutional advancement, organizational excellence, and communications to the broader community.
