Talia Mitre (Grade 11) was recently named the winner of the International Compost Awareness Week (ICAW) Poster Contest, sponsored by the Composting Council Research and Education Foundation (CCREF). Talia's work was chosen out of 300 applicants from around the world, many of whom were adult professional graphic designers. CCREF will print about 2000 copies of the poster, display it at a number of international conferences on composting, and send it out to all the state houses in the U.S. It will also be displayed in offices, schools, municipalities, and community events during International Compost Awareness Week. Click here to read more about Talia's work and ICAW. Congratulations to Talia for this great achievement!
