Four High School Students Accepted into Pre-College Online Summer Programs


Mazal tov to Jake Rulnick, Talia Jacobsohn, Rebecca Bender, and Noah Simon on their acceptances to pre-college art and design summer programs!

Jake Rulnick (Grade 12) was accepted into Columbia University's School of Professional Studies this summer. He is taking an online course called 'Painting: The Painted Image' focusing on oil painting and discussing art historical works of the Western world.

Talia Jacobsohn (Grade 11) was accepted into Syracuse University for their summer college program for high school students. Talia will be taking an online graphic design course.

Rebecca Bender (Grade 11) was accepted into the Rhode Island School of Design's (RISD) advanced program for high school students where she will take a variety of course work including 'Experiential Drawing', 'Exploration in Design', 'Art During Crisis: Contemporary Issues', 'Art & Social Justice.' She is also taking a course at the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) in 'Figure Painting in Oil.'

Noah Simon (Grade 12) was accepted into the School of the Art Institute of Chicago for summer course work. Noah will be taking an online class called 'Design Projects' that focuses on learning about contemporary designers and building design skills in drawing, drafting, research, ideation, and digital design.
