Hi everyone! this is Izzy May, rising Junior. Today in Buenos Aires, we visited Argentina's best soccer team, the Boca Juniors', stadium. The stadium, known for its loud, enthusiastic atmosphere was truly a great sight to see. After that, we visited the stunning Colon Theatre with its antique gold architecture and it's amazing acoustics. With everyone so blown away by the theater, we decided to buy tickets to one of their ballets for Thursday night! we later stopped at the famous, and the oldest cafe in Buenos Aires, Cafe Tortoni, for some typical Argentinian churros, chocolate, and coffee. Lastly, we walked around Buenos Aires' central Plaza, the Plaza del Mayo. There we saw tall monuments, powerful demonstrations, and the stunning "Pink House," where the president of Argentina works. We walked back to our hotel giving us the chance to observe the streets, stores, and restaurants of Buenos Aires. Though it was a lot of walking, we all enjoyed the true Argentinian lifestyle. For dinner, we went to a wonderful kosher steak house in which a variety of foods were ordered giving everyone a great cultural experience. Overall, day two was not only a success, but a blast!
