Congratulations to Dr. Alexis Soffler, Lower School STEM & Science Coordinator, on being accepted to the 100kin10 Teacher Forum! 100kin10, a networked effort of 200+ partners working to support STEM educators and to train 100000 excellent new STEM teachers by 2021, received over 100 applications from teachers across the country. According to the acceptance letter, Dr. Soffler stood out for her talent, leadership, passion, and commitment to advancing STEM teaching.
Dr. Soffler will attend the Annual Partner Summit in Phoenix, AZ in April, where the Teacher Forum Kick-off will take place. During the Kick-off, she will hear what it means to be a member of the Teacher Forum, connect with other amazing STEM teachers, and learn how to hold a listening session with the local STEM teaching community.
