Since The Charles E. Smith Jewish Day School was founded, many families have made generous monetary contributions to uphold the foundation of excellence and sustain and advance the mission of our School.  Our community is now the beneficiary of years of contributions and volunteerism.  Our partnership with parents, grandparents, alumni and community friends is what enables CESJDS to be the extraordinary educational institution and community it has become.  It is our responsibility as a Jewish community to continue this beautiful tradition of giving.

Tuition alone does not cover the full cost of a CESJDS education.  Independent schools like CESJDS rely on every parent, grandparent, our alumni, our faculty and our many supporters in the community to help us close that gap.  That additional income allows us to operate a generous tuition assistance program, hire and retain talented faculty, provide necessary educational resources, and so much more.

There are so many ways you can help us in the important ongoing work of maintaining and strengthening our great School, as many have before you.  No gift is too small or too great and we encourage every family to participate in our giving program.  As a beneficiary of the vision of the generations before, now it is your turn and your responsibility to invest in the superb educational and spiritual opportunities offered at the Charles E.
