Curtis Asplund and Aliza Libman Baronofsky Attend Geometry of Redistricting Workshop at Tufts University

Upper School math teachers Aliza Libman Baronofsky and Curtis Asplund attended the Geometry of Redistricting Workshop held at Tufts University this week. The conference was recently featured in The New Yorker. Both teachers are excited to implement lesson plans where students can calculate the ratio of area to perimeter squared of polygons that approximate the shape of real congressional districts in Maryland.
